Full job description

Quolus Construction Services is an industry-leading construction workforce supplier. We are B.C. owned and operated since 1993, focused on large multi-residential projects spanning the Lower Mainland.

Quolus Construction is currently seeking:

Skilled Labourers with construction experience who will be performing a variety of duties on site. The right candidate should have a solid construction background, be comfortable handling multiple tasks, and possess at least one specialization. Positions may include specialized responsibilities such as OFA-2, TCP, basic machine operation, or concrete finishing, depending on the candidate’s experience.

Core Duties Include:

  • Loading & Unloading: Material handling, allocation, and identification.
  • Clean Up: Sweeping, shoveling, demolition, material organization, and general site coordination.
  • Tool Use: Heavy tools, hand tools, ladders, power tools, and scaffolding.
  • Machinery: Swamping, use of gas tools, tampers, spotting, pumps, and hoses.
  • Groundwork: Grading, digging, leveling, and soil transport.
  • Concrete: Preparation, mixing, placement, chipping, and drilling.

Specialty Duties (based on experience):

  • Machine Operation: Operating scissor lifts and skid steers; performing routine inspections, basic maintenance, and reporting faults; maintaining full awareness of surroundings and site safety.
  • Traffic Control (TCP): Directing traffic in accordance with plans, setting up and removing traffic control equipment, coordinating deliveries, and communicating clearly with public and site personnel.
  • OFA-2 First Aid: Assessing injuries, administering first aid, completing documentation, referring cases for further treatment, and following safety protocols.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of general labourer experience.
  • Ability to commit to full-time employment.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Must own basic equipment (tool pouch & gloves) and have reliable transportation.
  • Must own and maintain standard PPE.
