Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and organized Dental Receptionist/Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Receptionist/Assistant, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to patients, managing administrative tasks, and ensuring the smooth operation of the dental office.

Responsibilities:

- Greet and welcome patients in a friendly and professional manner

- Schedule and confirm appointments using dental software systems such as ClearDent

- Answer phone calls and address patient inquiries or concerns

- Verify insurance coverage and process insurance claims

- Collect patient information and update electronic medical records

- Assist with billing and financial transactions

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area

- Coordinate patient referrals to specialists as needed

- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient patient flow

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a similar administrative role, preferably in a dental office or medical setting

- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures is highly desirable

- Proficiency in using electronic medical records systems

- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

- Professional demeanor and appearance
