Job Overview

Join our dynamic dental practice as a Dental Office Manager and lead our team to excellence! In this vital role, you'll oversee daily operations, ensure smooth patient flow, and foster a welcoming environment. Duties

  • Manage daily office operations, including scheduling, patient check-in/out, and appointment coordination
  • Supervise front desk staff, dental assistants, and administrative personnel to ensure high performance and teamwork
  • Oversee billing, coding, insurance claims processing, and collections to maintain financial health
  • Maintain accurate electronic medical records using systems like Dentrix and ensure compliance with privacy regulations
  • Handle human resources functions such as hiring, training, performance evaluations, and staff development
  • Coordinate with dental providers to optimize patient care delivery and clinic workflow
  • Monitor budgets, supply inventory, and vendor relationships to keep the practice running efficiently
  • Ensure adherence to medical terminology standards and hospital or acute care protocols when applicable

Skills

  • Proficiency with Dentrix or similar electronic medical records systems
  • Strong understanding of dental office procedures and medical office experience
  • Experience supervising teams in healthcare or administrative settings
  • Knowledge of human resources practices including hiring, onboarding, and employee relations
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and hospital or acute care environments
  • Budgeting skills to manage expenses effectively within the practice’s financial plan
  • Experience with electronic medical records management and compliance standards
  • Excellent communication skills for team leadership and patient interactions
