About the Job

We are looking for a qualified Office Manager to run our medical facility at Kitchener

The incumbent will be responsible for day-to-day operation and maintaining medical and staff records.

As a Medical office manager, they should demonstrate excellent organizational skills and the ability to perform well in stressful situations. Our position also requires knowledge of healthcare systems operations.

Ultimately, the suitable candidate should be able to ensure steady workflows and uninterrupted service in our medical facility. This opportunity provides an excellent career growth trajectory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Scheduling appointments for physicians and practitioners
  • Must have experience in working in a multi-physician environment
  • Monitoring and processing accounts receivable
  • General office administration, including but not limited to: Scheduling, payroll, up-keep, file maintenance, ordering medical and office supplies
  • Maintain an organized and efficient workspace
  • Implementing promotional programs
  • Responsible for creating supply orders
  • Maintain medical and staff records
  • Liaise with doctors and nurses to identify potential office dysfunctions
  • Provide informative material for patients
  • Ensure compliance with current healthcare regulations, medical laws and high ethical standards
  • MOA/Lab certified
  • At least 3 years of proven work experience in a Family/Walk-In clinic is a prerequisite
  • Experience with OSCAR/AVAROS EMR will be preferred
  • Computer skills including demonstrated proficiency in MS Office/ Google will be an added advantage
  • Previous experience in customer satisfaction will be an added advantage
  • Must be effective at multitasking and problem solving and be able to foster a positive environment for the team
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Professionalism
  • Ability to handle medical records
  • Knowledge of medical issues and terminology
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to multi-task and perform well in stressful situations

Work Schedule:

Typical schedule during the week will be Mon – Fri 9am to 5pm or as required by the business.

$50,000-$55,000/year
