Are you looking for a rewarding career in healthcare? We are seeking a fantastic individual for the position of clinic assistant to work alongside our already amazing team of health professionals and clinic staff!

Orchard Chiropractic & Physiotherapy is a well-established and well-respected family and sports injury clinic centrally located in Orchard Plaza. We have been providing personalized healthcare solutions for Kelowna & Central Okanagan residents since 2008, offering chiropractic, physiotherapy, registered massage therapy, and kinesiology services.

The duties of the Clinic Assistant include:

  • Greeting and checking in patients
  • Answering incoming phone calls and emails
  • Scheduling appointments, taking payments, and processing insurance
  • Escorting patients to treatment rooms
  • Cleaning of treatment tables and equipment as needed
  • Assisting in management of clinic inventory and supplies
  • Collaborating with fellow staff members and treating practitioners
  • Performing general administrative and cleaning duties of the clinic
  • Working with an amazing team of patient-focused staff and health practitioners to provide the best-in-class patient experience!

Ideal candidates should possess the following:

  • High school diploma and 1+ years of administrative/customer service experience
  • Excellent telephone and face-to-face skills
  • Outgoing and compassionate personality
  • Able to work comfortably in team and solo environments
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Previous experience in a health-related clinic/facility is an asset, but not required
  • Basic computer proficiency, including basic familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, Word & Excel
  • Experience using Jane App medical software (or similar EHR/EMR software) is an asset, but not required
  • Social media/marketing experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Must be reliable and punctual

Training for this position is to start the first week of August. Regular shifts would be Monday - Thursday, 10:00am - 6:30pm or 9:00am - 5:30pm, with the occasional 1/2 day Friday. Training is provided. Compensation starts at $21-$21.50/hour. A health spending account is included after the first month of employment.
