Job Overview

Join our dynamic cardiology clinic as a Cardiology Clinic Admin, where your energetic and organized approach will keep our operations running smoothly! In this vital role, you’ll be the friendly face at the front desk and the efficient coordinator behind the scenes, ensuring seamless patient flow and accurate record management. Your proactive attitude and attention to detail will contribute to delivering exceptional cardiovascular care while creating a welcoming environment for patients and staff alike. Duties

  • Greet patients warmly, verify appointments, and check in patients efficiently using electronic medical records systems.
  • Manage multi-line phone systems to schedule appointments, answer inquiries, and coordinate with medical staff promptly.
  • Maintain accurate patient records, including medical terminology documentation and updates within Epic electronic health record system.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and processing referrals or insurance paperwork.
  • Support clinical staff by preparing exam rooms, handling patient correspondence, and managing appointment reminders.
  • Handle front desk operations with professionalism, including managing patient flow and addressing patient concerns with positive energy.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Cardiology clinic admin is highly preferred; medical office experience is a strong plus.
  • Familiarity with Epic electronic health records system or similar EMR platforms is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology to accurately document patient interactions and clinical notes.
  • Excellent office experience managing multi-line phone systems, scheduling, and front desk duties.
  • Prior administrative experience in a healthcare setting demonstrating organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a friendly, professional demeanor.
