Receptionist / General Office Administrator – Main Shop

We are seeking a professional, organized, and customer-focused Receptionist / General Office Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for visitors while providing administrative and payroll support to ensure the efficient operation of our office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome visitors and direct them to the appropriate department or staff member.
  • Answer, screen, and direct incoming telephone calls and electronic inquiries.
  • Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and correspondence.
  • Maintain a professional and welcoming front office environment.
  • Prepare and maintain files for record retention.
  • Enter timesheets accurately and assist with payroll administration.
  • Generate and distribute reports as required.
  • Order office supplies and maintain inventory.
  • Perform general administrative duties and support other office functions as required.
  • Follow all company policies and Occupational Health & Safety requirements, including wearing required PPE in designated areas.
  • Communicate effectively and work cooperatively with management, office staff, and production personnel.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Previous experience in reception, office administration, or an administrative support role.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling employee and payroll information.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general office software.
  • Ability to prioritize work, use initiative, and work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.

Hours of Work

Candidates must be willing and able to work 39 hours per week as part of a Group Averaging Arrangement:

  • Monday to Thursday: 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
  • Friday: 7:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. (Noon)
