Medical Device Sales Intern – Direct to Clinic

The Location? South London, Ontario

How much can I make? As an entry level sales intern, you can make about $55,000 to $70,000 in your 1st year of employment. It will not take long for a successful salesperson such as yourself to eclipse the $100,000 mark.

Where will I be working? This is an in-office position at our facility.

Position Summary

Work alongside the Sales Manager of the Company and her valued team to assist in overseeing the Sales Management and Customer Service duties as directed.

We will start you out in the Customer Care area of the Company learning the products, customer base and workflow of the organization. After you master these tasks and skill sets, we will move you in the Sales Management area where you will assist the Sales Management team handling upper-level A & B account classes.

As the ideal candidate, you have had one or more successful positions in sales of products or services or have been exposed to the sales process in some fashion. You are an individual that fully knows and understands the sales process from end to end. Prospecting. Intro. Follow-up. Closing. Statistics. Performance After Sales Customer Service.

You are successful and motivated in sales and seeking new challenges in a great recession proof industry with a very competitive company. Perhaps you are in Sales at another company where the opportunity to advance isn’t on the horizon perhaps.

Responsibilities

  • Once you know our full product line, identify and engage potential customers within the healthcare industry.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clinics.
  • Present and promote our medical device products to new and existing clinics.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Attend product training sessions and stay up to date on industry trends.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing client questions and concerns promptly.
  • Assist with administrative tasks related to sales, such as tracking orders and maintaining client databases.
  • Participate in sales meetings and contribute ideas for improving sales strategies.

Requirements

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A genuine interest in the medical device industry and healthcare technology.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing sales strategies and product information.
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude and eagerness to grow professionally.
  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel to client sites and attend industry events as needed.
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM software is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Exceptional excel, presentation, email and computer skills. MS Office Suite.
  • Prior experience in B2B sales strategies and business performance goals preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
