Full job description

Locum Pharmacist – South Okanagan Valley (Aug 20 – Oct 16, 2026)

You made plans for 2026: to change your daily pattern, seek new experiences, and perhaps increase your earnings to make the rest of the year smoother.

Stop planning and start acting.

Here’s your chance to press reset in 2026, on your own schedule. We’re seeking a Pharmacist for a focused relief contract in the beautiful South Okanagan Valley, BC, from late August to mid-October. This is an excellent opportunity to escape the routine, enjoy the final summer warmth in wine country, and return home with enhanced savings, all in one concentrated engagement.

The Destination: South Okanagan Valley
Swap urban traffic for scenic vineyards and evenings by the lake. Off-duty, you’ll have access to top-tier wineries, pleasant beaches, beautiful trails, and a calm desert climate that makes each day off feel like a vacation. It’s a chance to experience a vacation lifestyle while earning professional income, during the region’s prime season.
Duration: August 20 – October 16, 2026 (approx. 8 weeks)
Compensation: Market-competitive, with a consistent weekday schedule that leaves every weekend free for exploration.

What Sets This Role Apart:
No more understaffed or hectic settings. This is a well-managed, community-oriented pharmacy designed for pharmacists who seek an enjoyable workday.
  • Manageable volume: approximately 150 scripts each day, enabling focused patient interactions.
  • Specialized services: caring for 10 methadone patients in an organized, supportive setting.
  • Straightforward hours: Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm. No night shifts, weekends, or excessive hours.
  • User-friendly technology: known platforms so you can start quickly.

Your Weekly Schedule:
A reliable 40-hour week with every evening and weekend to yourself for exploring Okanagan wineries, farmers' markets, and lakeside trails. It’s a focused contract, but your time off is wide open for adventure.

Begin your 2026 goal now, this August in the Okanagan Valley.
Only one opening is available for this contract.
