We currently have an opportunity available for the Clinical Education Lead to join our Teams.

Hours of Work: DAYS, EVENINGS, WEEKENDS INCLUDING STAT HOLIDAYS

How Clinical Education Lead support our teams at Grand River Hospital:

Reporting to the Team Lead, Ultrasound, the Clinical Education Lead ensures a varied and complete clinical experience for Ultrasound students. This position supervises, assesses and evaluates student progress including progress with their technical skills. The CEL will also assist the Team Leader with organizing ongoing Ultrasound rounds The Clinical Education Lead acts as a liaison between students and the accredited education facility and the Medical Imaging Department. Contributes to ensuring there is a safe environment for patients, staff and visitors.

At Grand River Hospital, our Clinical Education Lead has:

• • Graduate of accredited Ultrasound Technology Program (community college or university degree)
• • • Current registration with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging
• • Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO);
• • • RVT designation preferred
• • • RDMS (Ab, Ob/Gyn) and/or CRGS certification required
• • • College teaching certificate is preferred
• • • Three (3) to five (5) years of working experience is preferred
• • • Demonstrated relevant and recent continuing education
• • • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment is essential
• • • Strong work ethic and good attendance record
