ProMed HR Solutions Ltd is a Canadian company specializing in addressing locum requirements in the Hospital Settings. Our goal is to reduce patient wait times by providing qualified professionals. We work closely with healthcare facilities to match their specific needs with the most qualified individuals.

Summary:

We are seeking an experienced MRI, X-ray and CT Technologists to join our team on a locum basis. The potential candidates will be responsible for performing high-quality scans on patients in accordance with established protocols and safety standards, collaborating with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely imaging results.

Radiological technologists (X-ray & CT) – Locum Positions

Duties:

  • Use X-ray, fluoroscopy, CT scanners equipment to create images of the body for diagnosis by radiologists
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures. Perform routine checks to ensure imaging equipment is working properly
  • Monitor and support patients throughout imaging procedures and ensure images meet quality standards. Explain procedures clearly, position patients correctly, and follow safety and radiation protection guidelines
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures. Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret imaging results.

Magnetic resonance technologists

  • Operate MRI scanners to capture detailed images of the body for diagnosis by radiologists
  • Collect, record, and manage patient information accurately
  • Perform routine checks to ensure MRI equipment is functioning safely and properly
  • Screen patients for any conditions or implants that may make the exam unsafe
  • Monitor and support patients throughout the MRI procedure
  • Follow all MRI safety protocols to protect patients, staff, and others in the area

Qualifications:

  • Completion of a two- to three-year college or other approved program in diagnostic radiography or magnetic resonance imaging for Radiological/MRI Technologists
  • Current CAMRT certification in good standing is required. Additional CT certification would be considered an asset for CT positions
  • A minimum of 1–2 years of relevant work experience is preferred
  • Membership with a provincial association/Active licensure with the applicable provincial regulatory body is required
  • Maintain ongoing Continuing Medical Education (CME) requirements

Compensation Details:

Base Rate: $60- $75 per hour( Based on Modality, skills, experience and assignment Location)

  • Reimbursement for out-of-province licensing fees
