We’re growing—and we’re looking for a Senior Law Clerk who thrives in a fast-paced, high-performance environment and is ready to take ownership of complex Tort and Accident Benefits files from day one.

If you’re someone who enjoys juggling multiple priorities, thinking strategically, and being deeply involved in the litigation process (including trial preparation), this is a role where you’ll do your best work.

What You’ll Do

You’ll play a key role in driving files forward, supporting strong litigation strategy, and ensuring every client file is handled with precision and care.

  • Manage and move forward a full caseload of Tort and Accident Benefits files
  • Draft and prepare high-quality legal documents, including:
  • Statements of Claim, motion records, pleadings, affidavits of documents
  • Mediation and pre-trial briefs
  • Coordinate and manage undertakings and refusals
  • Take ownership of scheduling and file progression (discoveries, mediations, hearings, etc.)
  • Communicate regularly with clients, experts, and third parties—always with professionalism and empathy
  • Conduct detailed medical document review and analysis
  • Assist in building strong, well-supported cases across liability, damages, and medical evidence
  • Prepare files for discoveries, mediations, LAT hearings, pre-trials, and trial
  • Contribute meaningfully to settlement strategy and negotiation preparation
  • Maintain clear, concise, and strategic file summaries

What You Bring

You’re experienced, confident, and ready to hit the ground running—while still looking to grow and refine your craft.

  • Proven experience as a Law Clerk in Personal Injury (Tort & Accident Benefits)

Strong working knowledge of:

  • SABS
  • Rules of Civil Procedure
  • OCF Forms
  • Experience managing a high-volume caseload (100+ files) with competing priorities
  • Exposure to mediation, arbitration, and/or trial preparation (trial experience is a strong asset)
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to getting it right the first time
  • A client-first mindset and genuine passion for making a difference
  • Strong writing skills with the ability to assess, analyze, and present issues clearly
  • A proactive, “roll up your sleeves” approach—you don’t wait to be asked
  • A critical thinker who can anticipate needs and solve problems before they escalate
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable working with systems like Microsoft Office, Time Matters, and PCLaw
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a high-performing team

Why Campisi LLP

  • A respected and established firm with a proven track record of success
  • A fast-paced, team-driven environment where your work truly matters
  • Exposure to complex, meaningful files—not just routine tasks
  • A culture that values excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • A team that supports each other and celebrates wins together
