Role Responsibilities

The Medical Field Sales Representative responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Proactively develop and execute outbound sales strategies to generate new business opportunities.
  • Prospect, cold call, email, and engage potential referral sources, and referring physicians.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare providers, clinics, organizations, and key stakeholders.
  • Serve as the organizational liaison at industry events, health fairs, workshops, and forums to promote services and increase market presence
  • Plan, coordinate, and implement outreach services and sales activities across assigned territories or regions.
  • Identify leads, qualify prospects, and follow through on opportunities from initial contact to conversion.
  • Maintain a strong pipeline of prospective partners, including referring physicians and industry contacts, and track all related outreach and outcome
  • Prepare and deliver presentations, promotional materials, and service information to support outreach and sales efforts.
  • Collect and report sales and outreach data, analyze trends, and provide insights to leadership.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align outreach efforts with business development goals.
  • Monitor market opportunities, competitor activity, and community needs to support growth strategies.
  • Participate in external coalitions, workgroups, and committees as needed to expand reach and brand awareness.
Role Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, public health, social work, or related field preferred.
  • Experience in community outreach, health promotion, or related roles.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and work independently.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and data management tools.
  • Knowledge of healthcare systems and community resources is an asset.
  • Demonstrated success in outbound sales, business development, or a similar hunter-style sales role.
  • Strong sales background with proven ability to generate leads, build pipelines, and close new business
  • Medical Sales Experience (asset)
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and work independently.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and data management tools.
  • Please note this is a full-time Monday-Friday position.
