Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Full-time Medical Office Assistant (MOA) to join our wonderful team of experienced physicians, nurses and medical office assistants who are committed to ensuring that our patients receive the highest quality of care possible. Some of our physicians specialize in maternity care.

The ideal candidate will provide exceptional administrative and clinical support, ensuring smooth daily operations and high-quality patient care. We are looking for someone with a positive, friendly personality who enjoys working in a team environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with healthcare experience to contribute to a patient-centered environment in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a warm and welcoming environment
  • Schedule appointments and manage patient flow efficiently
  • Assist healthcare providers with clinical tasks, including taking vital signs and preparing patients for examinations. Urine dips, pregnancy tests etc.
  • Handle medical documentation, including charting and data entry including filing, scanning and organizing documents
  • Manage phone calls, patient inquiries, and follow-up communications
  • Coordinate referrals and medication orders
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient information in compliance with privacy regulations
  • Support inventory management of medical supplies and equipment
  • Ensure the cleanliness and organization of clinical area

Skills

  • Prior experience working in a hospital or medical clinic setting is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare procedures
  • Excellent patient care skills with compassionate communication abilities
  • Ability to work independently and a team player
  • Proficiency in electronic health records (EMR) systems and general office software. Eg. Med Access, CHR, Oscar and or Accuro
  • Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with healthcare team members and patients

Hours of Work

  • Monday to Friday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm
  • Total hours per week between 32-40 hours per week

Wages

  • Wages depend on experience $25 and up

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
