Job Description: Product Packaging/Product Tester(Mobile Phones)

Position: Product Tester (Mobile Phones)
Location: 1691 Powick Road
Employment Type: Full-Time
Reports To: Quality Assurance Manager

Company Overview:
CellResell is a leading provider of high-quality mobile devices and electronics, committed to delivering cutting-edge technology to our customers. We are looking for a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Product Tester to join our team at our 1691 Powick Road location. This role involves evaluating the performance, functionality, and quality of mobile phones to ensure they meet our rigorous standards before reaching the market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Testing and Evaluation:
  • Conduct comprehensive testing of mobile phones, including hardware, software, and user interface.
  • Perform functional tests on key phone features such as touchscreen, camera, battery life, connectivity, and audio quality.
  • Test the compatibility of mobile phones with various networks, carriers, and accessories.
  • Execute performance benchmarks to assess processing speed, multitasking ability, and overall user experience.
  • Quality Assurance:
  • Identify and document any defects, bugs, or issues found during testing, ensuring accurate and detailed reporting.
  • Collaborate with the repair and ordering teams to address any identified issues and suggest improvements.
  • Product Packaging:
  • Assist with product packaging testing to ensure that mobile phones and accessories are properly packaged to prevent damage during shipping and handling.
  • Evaluate the ease of unpacking and the quality of packaging materials used.
  • Reporting and Documentation:
  • Maintain detailed records of testing procedures, results, and any issues encountered.
  • Provide clear, concise feedback to relevant teams to aid in product improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of mobile phone technology, including hardware and software.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with packaging standards and practices is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to handle and test multiple mobile devices daily.
  • Some lifting of packaging materials and products may be required.
