Job Description
As a Field Service Representative based in Winnipeg, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality service and support for diagnostic imaging equipment. You will work with hospitals and clinics throughout Manitoba to ensure equipment reliability, customer satisfaction, and service excellence.
This is a field-based position with a service territory covering primarily Manitoba.
Reporting to the appropriate Team Lead, you will be responsible for the repair, maintenance, calibration, and installation of medical diagnostic imaging systems. Strong mechanical skills are important in this role to support mechanical installations and field service activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, calibrate, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain diagnostic imaging equipment in hospitals and clinics;
- Support mechanical installations and equipment commissioning in the field;
- Perform preventive maintenance and respond to scheduled and unscheduled service calls;
- Complete service documentation, test reports, and related records accurately and within required timelines;
- Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams to deliver a high level of service;
- Manage assigned projects and service activities efficiently and professionally;
- Follow Christie Innomed policies, procedures, and service standards;
- Participate in an on-call rotation to support customers outside of regular business hours.
Job Requirements
Qualifications and Experience- College diploma in Electronics, Electronic Engineering Technology, Biomedical Technology, Biomedical Engineering Technology, or a related field;
- Previous field service or diagnostic imaging experience is an asset but not required. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply;
- Strong mechanical skills and abilities to support mechanical installations and equipment commissioning in the field;
- Working knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office;
- Exposure to diagnostic imaging modalities such as X-ray, fluoroscopy, mammography, ultrasound, MRI, or nuclear medicine is an asset;
- Knowledge of PACS, RIS, and DICOM systems is an asset;
- Ability to maintain accurate service records and documentation;
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.

- Valid driver’s license required;
- Ability to travel frequently throughout Manitoba based on operational needs, as well as outside the province or to the United States as required.
