Medical Device Reprocessing Technicians (MDRT/MDRDs)

Location: Toronto

Required Documents/Certifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Current certification with CSA or MDRAO
  • Completion of a certified Medical Device Reprocessing educational program
  • Recertification every five years

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Recent experience in a Medical Device Reprocessing environment.
  • Recent experience in scope reprocessing.
  • Knowledge and experience with MDRD infection control requirements.
  • Thorough knowledge of instrumentation and medical/surgical supplies and equipment.
  • Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 40 lbs.
  • Ability to wear all required PPE.
  • Commitment to continuing education and patient safety.
  • Availability to work days, evenings, nights, and weekends.
