Full job description

Regional Manager – Dental Operations | Fraser Valley B.C.

Abbotsford, Chilliwack & Surrounding Areas
My Dentist Near Me

My Dentist Near Me is looking for an experienced Dental Regional Manager to support a portfolio of established dental practices throughout the Fraser Valley, including Abbotsford, Chilliwack and surrounding communities.

We are a growing network of close to 100 dental practices across British Columbia. Our practices are privately owned and locally operated and each has its own personality, team culture and patient community. We believe strong operations should support what makes each practice successful; not make every office look and feel the same.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who truly understands dental operations, enjoys developing people, and knows how to turn practice data into meaningful action.

What You’ll Do

You will work closely with dentists, practice managers and dental teams to support strong day-to-day operations and sustainable practice growth.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting and coaching Practice Managers across a portfolio of Fraser Valley dental practices
  • Building strong, trusted relationships with doctors, managers and team members
  • Helping teams stay engaged, accountable and aligned around practice goals
  • Reviewing and interpreting key operational and financial metrics
  • Identifying opportunities to improve scheduling, production, collections, case acceptance, hygiene retention and patient retention
  • Supporting recruitment, onboarding, staff development and employee retention
  • Assisting Practice Managers with performance management and difficult operational situations
  • Monitoring patient experience and helping practices improve retention and continuity of care
  • Supporting efficient workflows, scheduling systems and administrative processes
  • Ensuring practices are using Tracker effectively and consistently
  • Identifying operational issues early and helping teams develop practical solutions
  • Supporting change management, software optimization and new operational initiatives
  • Partnering with doctors and leadership while respecting the individual culture and needs of each practice

What We’re Looking For

This is not an entry-level dental management position.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Significant experience working in dental practice operations
  • Previous experience as a Dental Practice Manager, Office Manager, Regional Manager or similar leadership role
  • Advanced working knowledge of Tracker dental practice-management software
  • Strong understanding of dental scheduling, treatment planning, insurance, collections, receivables and patient flow
  • Experience reviewing and acting on practice KPIs and operational reports
  • Strong knowledge of dental staffing and day-to-day practice management
  • Proven ability to coach, motivate and develop teams
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Strong judgment and the confidence to navigate challenging conversations
  • A practical, solutions-oriented approach
  • The ability to manage several practices and priorities at once
  • A valid driver’s licence and the ability to travel between Fraser Valley practices

Dental practice-management experience and Tracker proficiency are required for this position. Candidates without hands-on dental experience will not be considered.

The Person Who Will Thrive Here

You understand that successful dental operations are about more than numbers.

You can walk into a practice, build rapport quickly, understand what the team needs and help people move in the same direction. You know when to coach, when to listen and when to step in.

You are comfortable looking at metrics, but you also understand the people behind them — retaining great employees, keeping patients connected to the practice and creating an environment where teams want to succeed.

You don’t believe every dental practice needs to operate exactly the same way. You appreciate the individuality of privately owned practices while still bringing structure, accountability and strong operational standards.

Why Join My Dentist Near Me?

You’ll have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of dental practices while having a meaningful impact on their success.

This role offers:

  • A highly collaborative leadership environment
  • The opportunity to influence operations across multiple practices
  • Direct relationships with dentists, Practice Managers and senior leadership
  • Variety — no two practices or days are exactly the same
  • The ability to coach and develop emerging dental leaders
  • The opportunity to help practices improve while preserving their individual culture and identity
  • A growing organization with opportunities to contribute to larger operational initiatives

Position: Full-time
Region: Fraser Valley – Abbotsford, Chilliwack and surrounding areas
Travel: Regular travel between assigned practices is required

If you are an experienced dental leader who enjoys developing teams, improving operations and helping practices succeed, we would love to hear from you.

Pay: $76,793.73-$100,208.75 per year

Benefits:

  • Commuter benefits
  • Company events
  • Dental care
  • Flexible schedule
  • On-site parking

Application question(s):

  • Have you used Tracker Practice Management Software?
  • How many years of Dental Practice Management experience do you have?
  • Have you directly managed a dental practice, including staffing, scheduling, patient flow, collections, and daily operations?
  • Do you have experience recruiting, coaching and retaining dental team members?
  • Are you comfortable travelling regularly between practices in Abbotsford, Chilliwack and the surrounding Fraser Valley?

Experience:

  • Dental Practice Management: 3 years (required)

Work Location: In person
