We are seeking an Advanced Care Paramedic! (ACP)

We are hiring for an Advanced Care Paramedic position in British Columbia. The project is 14/14 schedule, with travel and accommodations provided in a camp environment. Medics will be supporting an mine project in the Cariboo Region of British Columbia.

This is for Casual work.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Safely respond to emergency and non-emergency scenes within established guidelines.
  • Take direction from operations officers in matters pertaining to medical response.
  • Perform routine duties related to shift operations in areas such as apparatus/equipment maintenance, reports, station maintenance, etc.
  • Work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Perform basic administrative functions.
  • Performs other duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE (minimum required):

  • 3 or more years of paramedic experience
  • Previous experience working in an industrial setting required
  • ACP licensed to work in British Columbia
  • Completed related post secondary education.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered
  • Valid unrestricted drivers License and current and clean Driver’s Abstract·
  • Current Standard Field Level Tickets,
  • Familiar with WorkSafe BC
  • Familiar with supporting Occupational Health programs
  • Physically capable of working in adverse weather environment and conditions
