Full job description

We are recruiting nurses (one RN and LPN) to add to a small nursing support team for a pediatric client in Nanaimo, BC. The shifts entail monitoring and providing nursing care to a toddler aged child with medical needs.

Training is provided to learn peritoneal dialysis.

Self-scheduling is available. The shifts are 4hrs and start at 5pm or later. We are looking for a nurse to work 1-3 shifts per week.

Qualifications:

  • Current ‘practicing’ registration with BCCNM
  • Valid CPR ‘C’ / BLS certification or better
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently.
  • Strong verbal and written interpersonal communication skills.
