Full job description

We are seeking a highly professional and patient-focused Registered Nurse (RN) to provide clinical support for IV moderate sedation procedures within our dental clinics in Vaughan and Woodbridge, Ontario.
This is an excellent opportunity for an RN looking for flexible casual work in a procedural outpatient environment. The role will initially involve 1–2 full clinic days per month, with the potential for additional days and expanded opportunities across clinics throughout the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) for candidates interested in future growth.
Responsibilities
  • Assist dentists and clinical teams during IV moderate sedation procedures
  • Perform patient assessments and review relevant medical histories
  • Monitor patients before, during, and after sedation procedures
  • Administer and monitor IV lines and sedation medications within scope and clinic protocols
  • Document patient vitals, sedation records, and recovery notes accurately
  • Support emergency preparedness and patient safety protocols
  • Collaborate closely with dentists and clinic teams to deliver exceptional patient care
  • Ensure compliance with RCDSO guidelines, infection prevention standards, and nursing best practices
Qualifications
  • Current registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)
  • Current BLS certification required
  • ACLS certification strongly preferred
  • Experience with IV initiation and patient monitoring required
  • Previous experience in procedural sedation, oral surgery, dental sedation, ambulatory care, PACU, ER, or surgical settings considered a strong asset
  • Strong communication, clinical judgment, and patient care skills
  • Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced clinical environment
Locations: Vaughan & Woodbridge, Ontario
Position Type: Casual
Schedule: 1–2 full clinic days per month to start
Compensation: Competitive hourly rate based on experience/qualifications
