Full job description

Part-Time | 1 Day per Week | Virtual | Private-Pay / Fee-for-Service

Bronte Wellness Boutique is seeking an experienced and collaborative Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our growing integrative healthcare team one day per week.

This is a unique opportunity for an NP who is passionate about women’s health, menopause care, hormone therapy and medical weight management and would like to build a focused private practice without the administrative demands of running a clinic independently.

Our vision is simple: bring conventional medical prescribing and naturopathic/integrative care together so that patients can receive coordinated, comprehensive care from practitioners who each work within their own expertise and scope.

The Opportunity

You will work virtually with an established multidisciplinary team and receive internal referrals from our Naturopathic Doctors and other practitioners for patients requiring medical assessment, prescribing and monitoring.

The role is designed to complement—not duplicate—the care being provided by our Naturopathic Doctors.

Primary areas of referral will include:

  • Menopause and perimenopause medical management
  • Menopausal Hormone Therapy (MHT/HRT)
  • Medical weight management, including GLP-1 medications when clinically appropriate
  • Assessment and prescribing related to IV iron therapy
  • Prescription and medication management
  • Diagnostic testing and medical investigations within NP scope
  • Primary-care concerns for patients who require conventional medical assessment or treatment
  • Specialist referrals and additional medical investigation when clinically indicated

Our NDs continue to manage the patient's broader integrative care, while the NP provides the medical assessment, prescribing and monitoring component.

Why Join Bronte Wellness?

This role offers the independence of private practice without having to build everything yourself.

You will benefit from:

  • One virtual clinical day per week, with the opportunity to grow over time
  • Flexible scheduling
  • Competitive fee-for-service revenue split
  • An established clinic and patient community
  • Internal referrals from Naturopathic Doctors and other practitioners
  • Administrative and reception support
  • Online booking and established clinic systems
  • Marketing support and professional presence on the Bronte Wellness website and social channels
  • Collaborative clinical relationships rather than practising in isolation
  • No need to lease your own clinical space or build a practice from the ground up
  • The opportunity to develop a focused private practice in women's health
  • A beautiful, established wellness brand with a strong focus on women 40+

Most importantly, we want this to be a role where an NP can practice medicine thoughtfully rather than feeling pressured by a high-volume clinical environment.

A Collaborative Model of Care

We believe patients receive better care when practitioners collaborate rather than compete.

Many of our patients already work closely with a Naturopathic Doctor for concerns such as perimenopause, menopause, metabolic health, thyroid health, fatigue, nutrition and healthy aging.

When prescription medication or medical management is required, we want patients to have access to an NP who can independently assess them and provide appropriate medical care while remaining connected to their existing healthcare team.

For internally referred patients, the NP will generally focus on:

Medical Assessment → Investigation → Prescribing → Medication Monitoring → Communication with the Referring Practitioner

The patient's ND or other referring practitioner continues to provide care within their respective scope.

Who We're Looking For

We would love to meet an NP who is:

  • Registered and in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
  • Authorized to practise as a Nurse Practitioner in Ontario
  • Experienced and confident in independent assessment, diagnosis and prescribing
  • Passionate about women's health and preventative medicine
  • Comfortable working collaboratively within an interdisciplinary environment
  • Warm, personable and committed to an exceptional patient experience
  • Interested in private, patient-centred healthcare
  • Comfortable providing virtual care
  • Highly organized with excellent clinical documentation and communication skills

Particularly Valuable Experience

Experience or additional education in any of the following would be highly desirable:

  • Perimenopause and menopause
  • Menopausal Hormone Therapy (MHT/HRT)
  • Medical weight management
  • GLP-1 medications
  • Women's health
  • Iron deficiency and IV iron
  • Metabolic health
  • Primary care

Formal menopause or hormone-therapy education would be considered a significant asset.

Compensation & Schedule

Commitment: Approximately 1 clinical day per week to begin
Location: Virtual care within Ontario
Compensation: Competitive fee-for-service split
Schedule: Flexible and mutually determined

This is intended to be a long-term collaborative relationship, with the potential to expand clinical availability as the NP service grows.

About Bronte Wellness Boutique

Bronte Wellness Boutique is an established multidisciplinary wellness clinic focused on providing elevated, integrative healthcare with a particular emphasis on women's health.

Our team brings together naturopathic medicine, nutrition, counselling, pelvic health, massage therapy, osteopathy, acupuncture, IV therapy and other complementary services in one collaborative environment.

We are continuing to expand our women's-health model and believe an exceptional Nurse Practitioner is an important part of providing patients with truly comprehensive care.

Interested?

If you are an NP who has considered private practice—or already works in private care—but would value an established patient community, internal referrals, administrative support, marketing and a collaborative clinical team, we would love to hear from you.

Please submit your résumé along with a brief introduction describing your clinical background and your interest in women's health, hormone therapy and/or medical weight management.

We are especially interested in finding the right long-term clinical partner rather than simply filling a position.

Pay: $150.00-$250.00 per hour

Benefits:

  • Flexible schedule
  • Work from home

Work Location: Remote
