HHS’s diverse scope of services includes a local assessment clinic, mobile services, on-site testing, staffing and remote medical service, as well as a dedicated Emergency Medical Division.

Job Profile: Occupational Health Registered Nurse (Casual)

Hines Health Services Inc. is seeking a dedicated and experienced Occupational RN in Regina and surrounding areas. The role will be responsible for conducting occupational health assessments, including ECG, audiometric testing, spirometry and immunizations. Certification in audiometry and spirometry would be mandatory requirements.

Location & Schedule:

  • Must be able to travel to multiple testing locations, including, (not limited to) Swift Current, Val Marie, etc.
  • Transportation from Regina and accommodation will be provided
  • Casual basis, 8 hours/day

Compensation: CA$48.00 - CA$58.00 per hour based on experience and qualifications

Responsibilities:

  • Provide client care by utilizing the skills of observation, assessment, nursing diagnosis, counseling, and health teaching
  • Perform routine nursing duties in accordance with company policies and procedures and Standards of Nursing Practice as defined by the provincial licensing body
  • Conduct occupational health assessments, including ECG, audiometric testing, spirometry, and immunizations, in collaboration with other nursing staff and medical team
  • Always act in a manner that ensures the client’s dignity, safety, privacy and confidentiality.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in Occupational Health setting or equivalent experience
  • Active registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)
  • Certification in audiometry and spirometry would be mandatory requirements.
  • An OHN diploma is an asset
  • Must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.
  • Must be able to travel to multiple locations.
