We are an Ophthalmology practice located in Surrey and White Rock, BC. Our physicians see all general types of eye disorders.

Job description

We are looking for an outgoing personality who is comfortable in a busy work environment and thrives working with a team! This role requires a reliable individual who works with exceptional integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism at all times. The ideal candidate is attentive to detail and accuracy, has strong organizational skills, practices patience with various client types and can work under pressure.

This role will be located primarily in White Rock, with some work in our Surrey office as needed.

Requirements for the position

· Fluency in English (speaking and writing). Punjabi an asset.

· Being MOA Certified is an asset but not required.

· Experience as an MOA (minimum of 6 months) is required.

· EMR experience is necessary and experience using Accuro is an asset

· Must be computer literate and able to operate a normal range of office equipment (telephone, fax, computer and photocopier).

Key responsibilities:

● General reception duties inclusive of answering phones, responding to emails, booking appointments, including out of clinic diagnostic testing appointments.

● Scanning and faxing documents as required.

● Promoting excellent customer service.

● Ensuring patient satisfaction, including troubleshooting when there is a complaint.

● Providing competent administration of visual field tests, OCT, fundus photography, IOL measurements, intraocular pressure testing,etc.
