Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Clinical Director to lead and oversee clinical operations within our healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing clinical staff, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and maintaining high standards of patient care. This leadership role requires a strong background in medical and dental office management, along with excellent organizational and supervisory skills to foster a collaborative and efficient clinical environment.

Duties

  • Provide leadership and supervision to clinical staff, including nurses, medical assistants, and administrative personnel.
  • Oversee daily clinical operations, ensuring adherence to healthcare standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Manage electronic medical records systems such as Dentrix and other EMR platforms to ensure accurate documentation.
  • Coordinate with human resources for staffing, training, performance evaluations, and staff development initiatives.
  • Develop and monitor budgets for the clinical department, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
  • Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations, including HIPAA and OSHA standards.
  • Collaborate with physicians, dentists, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care delivery.
  • Implement quality improvement programs to enhance patient outcomes and service quality.
  • Facilitate communication between departments to streamline workflows and improve operational efficiency.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices related to acute care, hospital experience, nursing, and medical terminology.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in dental or medical office management, with a strong background in supervising clinical teams.
  • Proficiency in Dentrix or similar electronic medical records systems.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, hospital procedures, nursing practices, and acute care settings.
  • Experience with human resources functions such as hiring, training, performance management, and staff development.
  • Strong budgeting skills with the ability to manage departmental financials effectively.
  • Prior experience working in hospital or healthcare environments is highly desirable.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
