Full job description

Naimark Law Firm is a plaintiff personal injury law firm operating within the GTA. Our team of professionals are dedicated, dynamic, and diverse! We are currently looking for a highly motivated and experienced Law Clerk to work as a floater handling Accident Benefits and Tort claims.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Completion of OCF forms
  • Drafting LAT applications
  • Preparing Case Conference summary forms
  • Preparing for LAT hearings
  • Reviewing medical documentation
  • Daily communication with clients and third parties
  • Handling CAT files
  • Obtaining productions and medical records
  • Preparing for discoveries, mediations and trials in a timely manner
  • Drafting and preparing all necessary legal documents such as, Statement of Claims, Motions, Trial Records, etc.
  • Drafting documents for review by the responsible lawyer

Attributes & Experience

  • 3-5 years of plaintiff personal injury experience including extensive knowledge of the Statutory Accident Benefits Schedule (SABS) and the Rules of Civil Procedure
  • Experience working in a fast pace environment handling 150+ ab/tort files
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Strong technical skills including Microsoft Office, Time Matters and PC Law
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail

The position is remote and office attendance is required once per month. In addition, Naimark Law Firm offers the flexibility of 4 day work weeks!
