Full job description
Anchor Orthodontics is hiring an experienced administrative assistant to work cooperatively as a member of our team.
Primary Duties
- Greeting patients and families, checking them in, completing necessary digital paperwork
- Scheduling and rescheduling appointments
- Updating patient information
- Taking payments and sending receipts and insurance forms
- Answering phones, monitoring and responding to emails
- Using payment processing software
- Managing patient recalls
- Stocking office supplies, coffee bar, and other necessary areas
- Accept incoming deliveries and coordinate outgoing shipments
Qualifications
- Experience as a dental or medical receptionist required
- Technologically inclined
- Excellent communication skills
- Punctual
Details
- Job Type: Approx. 32 hours per week, permanent
- Wages: $20+/hour, negotiable depending on experience
- Hours: Monday-Thursday 8:15am-4:45pm
- Experience: 1+ years (required)
- Work Location: In person
- Attire: Black scrubs, white closed-toe shoes
- Benefits: medical and dental insurance, paid vacation, group RRSP, uniform allowance, discounted orthodontic treatment
