Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Family Medical Clinic

Rebound Medical | Lethbridge, Alberta

Join a growing team dedicated to exceptional patient care.

Rebound Medical is seeking a compassionate, organized, and patient-focused Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our family medicine clinic in Lethbridge. Working alongside a collaborative team of family physicians, medical office assistants, and allied healthcare professionals, you will play an important role in supporting high-quality primary care for patients across Southern Alberta.

This is an excellent opportunity for an LPN who enjoys building relationships with patients, working independently, and contributing to a positive clinic culture.

Position Details

  • Part-time opportunity
  • Monday to Friday
  • No evenings, weekends, or statutory holidays
  • Competitive compensation based on experience

Responsibilities

  • Perform injections, ear irrigation and medication administration within scope of practice
  • Assist physicians with minor procedures and examinations
  • Conduct ECGs, point-of-care testing, and specimen collection as required
  • Complete wound care, dressing changes, and follow-up nursing assessments
  • Provide patient education regarding treatments, medications, and preventative health initiatives
  • Manage recalls, referrals, and chronic disease follow-up programs
  • Maintain accurate documentation within the Med Access EMR system
  • Adhere to infection prevention, privacy, and clinic policies
  • Support and assist MOAs with daily patient care

Qualifications

  • Current registration and good standing with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA)
  • Current CPR certification
  • Previous experience in family medicine, primary care, community health, or outpatient settings considered an asset
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a multidisciplinary team environment
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Experience with electronic medical records is preferred
