Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Office Assistant to join our Medical clinic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Clinic , providing excellent patient care and support. This position requires strong organizational skills, familiarity with medical terminology, and proficiency in communications with patients. The Medical Office Assistant will serve as the first point of contact for patients, managing their consultation requests and phone calls and facilitating communication between patients and healthcare providers .

Duties

  • Greet patients warmly and assist them with the check-in process.
  • Maintain a clean and welcoming office environment for patients.
  • Handle correspondence, including emails and faxes, in a timely manner.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations regarding patient confidentiality.
  • Assist physicians and healthcare providers with administrative and clinical support as needed.

Experience

  • Previous experience in a community Pharmacy and medical clinic setting is preferred.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology is essential for effective communication.
  • Proficiency in using office equipment and phone systems to manage daily operations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and staff members.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
