The Pharmacy Assistant will be responsible for providing professional customer service in a knowledgeable manner, as well as contributing to the team in the administration and collaboration of workflow and production efficiencies.

Our client has been an industry leader in managing the fulfillment, logistics and delivery of service excellence in Pharmacy and Medical Supplies for nearly a generation. Our client supports the safe, effective, and efficient delivery of medications and medical supplies across Manitoba. In its commitment to the Indigenous community, our client has been providing medication delivery and service to people in rural and remote communities as well as Health Centers and Nursing Stations throughout its history.

What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll be a key player in ensuring medications get where they need to go accurately, efficiently, and on time. You’ll collaborate with pharmacists, healthcare providers, and patients to keep things moving smoothly, even when things get busy (and they will!).

Responsibilities:

· Data entry

· Prescription refills,

· Prior approvals, and working with Jordan’s Principle

· Communicating with patients and healthcare providers

· Coordinating insurance and medication delivery

What You Bring

  • Experience as a Pharmacy Assistant in a Canadian pharmacy (required)
  • Strong working knowledge of the Kroll system (required)
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced setting
  • Confidence handling tight deadlines and fluctuating workflows
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-focused environment
  • Fluent in English

Bonus Points If You Have:

  • Experience with NIHB billing, prior approvals, or Jordan’s Principle
