Company Overview

The Canadian Academy of Dental Health & Community Sciences (CADH) is one of Ontario’s most established private career colleges focused exclusively on dental hygiene and dental assisting education. Located in Mississauga, just west of Toronto, CADH is known for its Level 4 accredited program, experienced faculty, and modern clinical facilities.

We are seeking a professional, well-organized, and student-focused Clinical Coordinator (Level 3) to join our team of highly accomplished Dental Hygiene faculty.

This role is ideal for a Registered Dental Hygienist who is passionate about teaching, values mentorship, high standards, and structured clinical education.

Qualifications

Applicants must:

  • Be a Registered Dental Hygienist in good standing with the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario (CDHO)
  • Hold a baccalaureate degree in educational theory and methodology (including online principles),

OR

  • Hold a baccalaureate degree in another discipline with training in adult education theory and methodology (including online principles),

OR

  • Be willing to work toward attainment of the above

Responsibilities:

  • Start Date: Immediately
  • Work full time (42 hours per week)
  • Teach and supervise students in person, in the CADH clinic, two days per week, from 8:00am - 7:30pm, (20 hours per week including 10 (ten) Saturdays per year)
  • Teach theory both on-site and online (4-5 hours per week) as scheduled
  • Oversee, manage, and report on Level 3 student progress as directed
  • Perform clinical observations (Level 2 and Level 3) as assigned by the Program Director
  • Complete any other assigned duties (ie: chart audits, grading for journals, PICO, Nutritional Counselling, Level 4 grading etc.) as directed
