Would you like to be part of a stimulating teaching environment located in a city-center campus with a multicultural student body? We invite you to submit your application to our Candidate Pool.

Applying to the Candidate Pool will keep your application on file for six (6) months. We may pre-screen candidates for temporary employment opportunities that arise.


Job description and tasks

In addition to regular teaching responsibilities, the role also includes:

  • Involvement in pedagogical days organized by the College
  • Participation in departmental meetings
  • Involvement in student-focused activities such as field trips, competitions, and year-end Graduate Exhibition.
  • Performing other department related administrative duties

Required Qualifications

  • Post-secondary degree (DEC) in Computer Science (or related field) plus five (5) years of related work experience (either industry or teaching or a mix) or a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or related field) plus two (2) years of related work experience (either industry or teaching or a mix)
  • Technical knowledge within the subject matters taught by the department and an ability and interest to learn.
  • Excellent English communication skills.

Assets

  • French is an asset.
  • Teaching experience is an asset.
  • Experience working in the industry in a technical role is an asset.
