Full job description

ClearTech is a successful chemical distribution company with people and infrastructure strategically located across Canada. As a full-service provider of chemicals, process equipment and analytical products to municipal and industrial markets throughout North America.

We have an opening in our Edmonton facility for a Chemical Process Operator.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reporting directly to the Bulk Supervisor, the Chemical Process Operator will oversee all aspects of production, maintenance, warehousing, railcar unloading plus bulk shipping/receiving in accordance with policies and procedures.
  • Keeping safety at the forefront the Chemical Process Operator will ensure smooth operation of the facility while maintaining the integrity of procedures and quality systems.

Requirements:

  • The successful candidate will have related experience in a chemical production environment.
  • Basic computer literacy is also a fundamental requisite as are hands on maintenance abilities and troubleshooting skills.
  • Preference will be given to those with direct experience in the chemical industry, power engineering certification, and with quality system knowledge.

Salary can be negotiated and will be based on qualifications and experience. This is a non-shiftwork opportunity located within the City of Edmonton normal business hours are Monday to Friday with occasional weekend, after hours, and holiday work required.
