Full job description

HANDYPERSON-

We are a leading exhaust fan manufacturer located in Woodbridge, currently looking for an experienced Machine Maintenance & Handyperson to work in our sheet metal fabrication plant facility.

Responsibilities:

· Perform various assigned tasks as required to use as well as repair machines, equipment, accessories, tools and dies, etc. including cleaning, lubricating and performing routine maintenance work on machinery.

· Prepare "Preventive Machine Maintenance Checklist" for all machinery and equipment in Plant

· Capable of reading mechanical, electrical, and machine drawings and understanding the requirements of a manufacturer's maintenance manuals.

· Complies with all rules, industrial regulations, and health and safety standards of the company.

· Reports to Plant Manager or Production Supervisor re: daily routine, problems, troubleshooting, further direction, and any necessary requirements or specific assignments.

Qualifications and Skills:

· Familiar with the Canadian Electrical Code, CSA/ASTM/ANSI codes

· Must have a good work ethic and be able to take instructions from our managerial and supervisory staff as well as interact well with co-workers.

· Reports to Plant Manager or Production Supervisor re: daily routine, problems, troubleshooting, further direction, and any necessary requirements or specific assignments.
