EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY

RETAIL SALES ASSOCIATE/INTERPRETIVE GUIDE – MAHONE BAY

Seasonal - May-December

Every person who walks through the doors of an Amos Pewter shop does so for a particular reason. From our long-time loyal customer who is looking to add to their collection to the visitor in Mahone Bay who was attracted by the hand-crafted pieces in the window display. We know that our hand-crafted pewter creations are exceptional – kudos to all our artisans for their creativity and attention to detail. We want you to be the icing on our cake!

A typical day for you might include:

· Welcoming visitors with all the enthusiasm of seeing an old friend

· Helping a young man find the Wild Rose necklace he came in to buy for his girlfriend and wrapping it up with the matching earrings you pointed out

· Providing visitors with a “wow” experience by offering them a workshop tour with one of our artisans who will fill in the story of how a solid ingot of pewter transforms into the hand-crafted pieces in the shop

· Channeling your inner neat-freak throughout the shop

We’d love to see your resume if you:

· Have the superpower of knowing what the just-right gift is for that special someone even though you’ve never met them

· Can make somebody’s day better just because of the great experience they have with you

· Are able to explain just about anything to anyone, face-to-face and on the phone

· Think on your feet and feel confident in your decision-making
