Job Title: Pharmacy Assistant (Kroll experience Required)

Location: Mississauga

Job Type: Part time with opportunity to convert into Full time

Availability: Must be available for weekend shifts

About Us

We are a busy, patient-focused community pharmacy committed to delivering high-quality care and efficient service. We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant with strong experience in ODB, third-party billing, and Kroll software.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately process prescriptions using Kroll pharmacy software
  • Handle Ontario Drug Benefit (ODB) claims and adjudication
  • Process third-party insurance billing (private and public plans)
  • Assist pharmacists with prescription preparation and workflow
  • Manage refills, patient profiles, and documentation
  • Deliver excellent customer service in person and over the phone
  • Maintain inventory, stock, and assist with medication ordering
  • Ensure compliance with pharmacy standards and policies

Requirements

  • Mandatory: Experience with Kroll software - 1 year minimum
  • Strong knowledge of ODB and third-party billing
  • Previous experience in a community pharmacy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to multitask

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with blister/compliance packaging
  • Familiarity with fast-paced pharmacy workflow
