Job Title: Front Desk Agent & Night Auditor

Department: Rooms Division

Reports To: Hotel Manager

Job Summary:

The Front Desk Agent & Night Auditor is a key member of the Guest Services team, responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to all guests at Calabogie Peaks Hotel. This role includes handling reservations, check-ins, and check-outs, promoting resort amenities, and completing nightly audit processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency in the hotel’s operations. The ideal candidate is flexible, detail-oriented, and thrives in a dynamic environment while maintaining a fun and positive attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guest Services:
  • Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival, providing exceptional service throughout their stay.
  • Assist guests with reservations for hotel rooms, recreational activities, and other resort amenities.
  • Handle guest check-ins and check-outs, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
  • Respond to inquiries and resolve guest issues promptly and courteously.
  • Administrative Duties:
  • Run nightly audit reports to reconcile daily transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Perform data entry, maintain guest records, and prepare reports as needed.
  • Answer phones, direct calls, and manage correspondence in a professional manner.
  • Operations Support:
  • Ensure the lobby and reception areas are clean and welcoming.
  • Perform overnight housekeeping duties including vacuuming, moping dusting etc.
  • Collaborate with team members to support seamless operations across the resort.

Job Requirements:

  • Must be able to work all shifts, including evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays, with flexibility for short notice scheduling.
  • Strong customer service orientation with courteous and professional mannerisms.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet.
  • Strong oral, written, and phone communication skills.
  • Highly organized with strong administrative and data entry skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and property management systems.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while thriving in a team environment.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand, walk, and remain on feet for extended periods.
  • Light lifting, up to 25 lbs, may be required.
