CleanSlate Sanitary Supplies

Location: Calgary, AB (on-site)

Employment type: Full-time, permanent

Schedule: Monday to Friday, day shift

Reports to: Director of Operations

Compensation: Competitive hourly wage based on experience, plus benefits after probation $18-23/h

About CleanSlate

CleanSlate Sanitary Supplies is a Calgary-based wholesale distributor of janitorial, sanitation, and facility supplies serving commercial customers across Alberta. We are growing, and we are building a warehouse team where every order goes out complete, accurate, and on time. This is a hands-on role at the centre of that goal.

The Role

You will pick, pack, and stage customer orders from our Calgary warehouse using Unleashed, our inventory and order management system. You will own each order from the moment it is released to the floor until it is confirmed, packed, and ready for the driver or courier. Accuracy and speed are what matters most: a missed line or a wrong product costs us a customer's trust, so we are looking for someone who takes pride in organization and ownership.

What You Will Do

  • Pick customer orders from product orders generated in Unleashed, scanning or confirming each line against the sales order
  • Pack and label orders for delivery or courier shipment, checking quantities, product codes, and condition before sealing
  • Mark orders as picked and complete in Unleashed so the office and sales team always see accurate order status
  • Stage completed orders by route or carrier and prepare packing slips and shipping documents
  • Receive inbound stock, verify it against purchase orders, and put it away in the correct bin locations
  • Keep bin locations accurate in Unleashed and flag stock discrepancies, damaged goods, and low-stock items to the Director of Operations and our internal Purchaser
  • Take part in cycle counts and periodic stock takes
  • Operate a pallet jack and, where certified, a forklift to move product safely
  • Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe; follow all WHMIS and safety procedures for handling chemical products
  • Help with other warehouse duties as needed, including occasional local deliveries

What We Are Looking For

Required

  • One or more years of warehouse, order picking, or shipping and receiving experience
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet, to process orders; experience with an inventory system such as Unleashed, or the ability to learn one quickly
  • Strong attention to detail with a track record of accurate picking and packing
  • Able to lift up to 50 lb repeatedly and stay on your feet for a full shift
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work with minimal supervision once trained
  • Clear written and verbal communication in English
  • Legally entitled to work in Canada

Preferred

  • Direct experience with Unleashed Software
  • Valid forklift certification
  • WHMIS 2015 certification
  • Experience in janitorial, sanitation, or chemical product distribution
  • Valid Class 5 driver's licence with a clean abstract
  • First Aid Certification

What We Offer

  • Stable, full-time daytime hours with no weekend shifts
  • Health and dental benefits after the probationary period
  • Paid training on Unleashed and our warehouse processes
  • Forklift certification support if you are not already certified
  • A growing company with room to move into lead, inventory, or purchasing roles

Pay: $18.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week

Benefits:

  • Dental care
  • Disability insurance
  • Extended health care
  • Life insurance
  • On-site parking
  • Paid time off

Work Location: In person
