Immigration Consultant (RCIC) — Saskatoon

MIB Business & Immigration Services Inc (Business Advisory | Recruitment | Immigration) Full-time - Permanent

Join our dynamic team as an Immigration Consultant (Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant - RCIC) and become a vital part of helping individuals and families navigate the complex world of immigration with confidence and clarity. In this role, you will provide expert guidance, manage immigration cases efficiently, and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards. Your enthusiasm for immigration law and dedication to client success will drive positive outcomes and foster trust in every interaction.

About the Role

MIB is looking for a self-motivated, organized, and energetic RCIC to join our Saskatoon office full-time. They will carry files across a broad immigration practice — Temporary Residency and Permanent Residency. They will support the principal RCIC on complex and time-sensitive matters. As part of a TEAM they will also share in the day-to-day administration that keeps a practice running.

Immigration Practice

  • Prepare accurate applications across a range of Canadian immigration programs, including Temporary Residency (Visas, Work Permits, International Mobility Programs-IMP, Family Sponsorships, and Study Permits) and Permanent Residency (Express Entry, Nominee Programs, Rural initiatives - inland and overseas).
  • Conduct eligibility assessments and manage document collection.
  • Draft submission letters, client correspondence, and legal argument.
  • Prepare reports, background documentation, and research.
  • Support the principal RCIC and staff on special projects and time-sensitive applications.
  • Maintain current knowledge of IRCC and PNP/TNP policy, form, and program changes.

Administration

  • Communicate with clients professionally by email and phone.
  • Maintain client service schedules.
  • Assist with revisions to internal and external Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Prepare and monitor internal and external reporting.
  • Manage inbound calls, emails, mail, and courier correspondence; triage or escalate office administration issues.
  • Represent the office professionally to clients, suppliers, and visitors.

Requirements

  • RCIC designation in good standing with CICC.
  • Strong English language skills.
  • Familiarity with IRCC, LMIA, and Provincial/Territorial Portals.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple files against tight deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel), PDF tools, and OneDrive.
  • Legally entitled to work in Canada.

Assets

  • French language skills.
  • Prior experience in a small-firm or multi-service practice.
