Casual Library Support Worker

Casual Library Support Workers are required on an “as needed” basis to work at various schools in our region - $17.00/Hour.

You must include three work related references with your application including a current phone number and email address if possible. Your references can be a current or previous supervisor from your last position or your supervisor from a practicum or volunteer position.

Casual Library Support Workers are required on an “as needed” basis to work at various schools and at various grade levels. Casual Library Support Workers are required to demonstrate:
  • knowledge of basic computer applications and technology.
  • Bonafide occupational requirements of the position, including physical ability.
  • Develop and maintain positive rapport with students.
  • Maintain the library circulation system including organize sign in and sign out and track and gather overdue resources.
  • Provide basic reference services to staff and students.
  • Maintain the library collection in good repair.
