Job Summary

Z’gamok Construction LP (ZCLP), a subsidiary of Z’gamok Enterprises Inc., an Indigenous business fully owned by Sagamok Anishnawbek, provides a diverse range of services across multiple business segments, including surface construction, haulage, and underground mining services.

Z’gamok Construction LP (ZCLP) is recruiting a hard-working, self-motivated individual with a proven record of safety and reliability to fill the position of temporary full-time Winter Labourer.

The Winter Labourer will be responsible for supporting site services contracts and ensure the construction, and mine sites have labour needs met.

Duties and Responsibilities

· Perform site clean-up and snow removal in the winter months (October – April)

· Prep construction sites by cleaning obstacles and hazards

· Load or unload construction materials

· Follow instructions from supervisors

· Ready to learn from on-the-job training when necessary

· Assist equipment operators, and other skilled labourers when necessary

· Other duties as required

Qualifications

· Valid Class G Driver's License, with an acceptable driving record

· One (1) year of related experience

· Minimum eighteen (18) years of age

· Ability to use tools and equipment required to perform the work (e.g., hand and power tools, etc.)

· Ability to handle the weight mass up to 45kg (100lbs)

· Ability to work both independently with little supervision, and as part of a team

· Ability to work in all weather conditions

· Must be punctual and reliable

Pay: From $21.63 per hour

Work Location: In person
