Day in the Life
Are you ready to cement your career with the perfect mix and gain exposure to the products that make our road? A strong attention to detail and safety-first mentality will be critical when conducting tests of asphalt mixes as all discrepancies must be reported. It is important all equipment is properly calibrated to ensure accurate results; you won’t want to go back to the field for repetitive testing. Quality over everything, you will have the opportunity to participate in activities related to the quality management and controls.
Qualifications
- 1 year experience in Quality Control within the road or civil construction industry: Asphalt, granular sampling and testing
- Experience with nuclear gauge
- Concrete testing an asset
- Working towards an undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering an asset
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Power Point, SharePoint, MS Outlook
- G2/G License required
- Willing to work overtime, as required
- Must be physically able to repetitively lift and carry at least 50 LBS on a regular basis.
Compensation Data
Targeting $23 to $31.90 per hour
