Full job description

Crosstown Dental Laboratory is looking for a Denture Technician to join its growing team.

Are you an experienced Denture Technician who is able to perform all aspects of lab work for removable appliances, including: set-ups, waxing, repairs, and trimming? Are you familiar with digital denture design and processing?

If you are also interested in a career at a fast-paced dental laboratory, then this is the position for you!

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Read and interpret prescriptions or specifications from dentists.
  • Operate laboratory equipment to create dental appliances.
  • Fabricating full and partial dentures. Producing splints and guards. Preparing set-ups and wax-ups.
  • Completing all denture related laboratory tasks, such as: generating models; articulating; building bite blocks and custom trays; processing, trimming and polishing appliances; and relining and repairing dentures.
  • Ensuring the quality and accuracy of finished products.
  • Digital denture design and processing is beneficial.

SKIILS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Understanding of dental terminology and anatomy
  • Previous denture technician experience, and digital capabilities an asset
  • Knowledge of implants and procedures an asset but not required.
  • Experience with Full Arch Implant cases is a plus
  • Must have strong understanding of overall morphology
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Must pay attention to detail
