Cosmetic Chemist (Skincare Formulation) / Production Operator

Job Summary

We are looking for a person with experience in Cosmetics & Health Products Skin Care Manufacturing (full-time, On‑Site — Richmond, BC)

We are a natural health and skincare manufacturer based in Richmond, BC, specializing in high‑quality cosmetic and Natural Health Products.

We are seeking an experienced Cosmetics & Natural Health Product Person to join our team on a full‑time, on‑site basis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create, refine, and optimize formulations for cosmetic and Natural Health Products (NPNs).
  • Identify and evaluate raw materials, actives, and functional ingredients.
  • Lab Batch Preparation — Produce laboratory batches, Regulatory Compliance — Meet Health Canada and GMP requirements.
  • Scale‑Up Support — Assist with technology transfer and production scale‑up.
  • Hands‑On Production — Participate in occasional manufacturing activities as needed.
  • Quality & GMP — Follow GMP, SOPs, and internal quality standards.
  • Troubleshooting — Support production troubleshooting and continuous product improvement.

Qualifications Education: Chemistry or a related field

Experience: Minimum 2 years formulating cosmetics and Health Products GMP Understanding of Health Canada cosmetic and NPN frameworks.

GMP Experience: Hands‑on work in a GMP‑compliant manufacturing environment.

Technical Skills: Production Chemistry Teamwork: Able to work independently and collaboratively in a production setting.

Flexibility: Willingness to perform occasional production tasks.

Position: Full‑time, on‑site

Location: Richmond, BC
