Laboratory/Production Associate - Cambridge

We are recruiting for an immediate employment opportunity which has the potential to become a permanent full time position.

Our Cambridge client, one of the world's leading providers of testing, calibration and advisory services, is recruiting for a Laboratory/Production Associate. The successful candidate will be responsible for work flow and the receiving of test materials, samples and paperwork; receive and document lab numbers on material and attach the paperwork. Also responsible to unstack piles of steel so that the identification information can be written down and then logged into the computer system. The successful candidate will possess an excellent attention to detail, strong computer skills and good communication and organizational abilities.

Advantages

Required Skills/Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of work experience in a fast-paced production environment
  • Having worked in a laboratory environment and/or courses would be an asset
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Organized and self-motivated with good analytical and assessment skills
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Work flow skilled
  • Team player & a Quick learner
  • Adaptable and works well under deadlines
  • Physically fit and able to lift up to 30lbs. unassisted
  • Steel toed shoes & Safety glasses
  • Have a clear criminal background check and credit check

Security clearance required. Only available to Canadian Permanent Resident Status or Canadian Citizens.
