Join Our Kitchen Team!

Bloom Hotel – Tandoor Chop House is looking for a reliable, motivated, and hardworking Line Cook / Prep Cook to join our full-time kitchen team in Mississauga.

We offer a menu featuring both Indian and Western cuisine, making this a great opportunity for someone who enjoys cooking, working with a team, and developing their kitchen skills.

We welcome candidates with previous kitchen experience as well as motivated individuals who are eager to learn and grow.

What you'll do

  • Prepare vegetables, sauces, marinades, and other ingredients for daily service.
  • Cook and plate dishes from our Indian and Western menus.
  • Assist with daily food preparation and keep kitchen stations stocked.
  • Maintain consistent food quality, presentation, and portion control.
  • Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures.
  • Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and ready for service.
  • Work closely with the chef and kitchen team during busy service periods.

What we're looking for

  • Previous line cook or prep cook experience is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Indian or Western cuisine is an asset.
  • A dependable attitude, good teamwork, and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen.
  • A valid Food Handler Certificate, or willingness to obtain one.
  • Availability to work evening shifts, including weekends and holidays as required.

Pay and schedule

  • Pay: $18–$20 per hour, depending on experience and demonstrated skills.
  • Full-time position.
  • Evening shift: approximately 3:30 PM to 10:00 PM or 10:30 PM, depending on operational requirements.
  • Consistent attendance and punctuality are important.
