Full job description

Alteri Insurance isn’t your typical brokerage. Backed by strategic investor Southampton Financial, we’re a rapidly growing, forward-thinking firm built for entrepreneurial professionals who want more control over their success.

Our mission is to empower producers to thrive in today’s insurance landscape by combining a relationship-driven sales approach with access to a wide range of markets, innovative tools, and strong support infrastructure. We specialize in delivering tailored solutions across personal and commercial insurance lines, giving our producers the ability to truly meet the diverse needs of their clients.

We’re looking for a motivated, entrepreneurial Level 2 Licensed Account Executive to join our high-performance team remotely. We currently have multiple producer positions available and are seeking individuals who hold a valid Level 2 Insurance Broker license. Depending on the regions you’ll be serving, successful candidates may be required to obtain additional provincial licenses, with support provided by Alteri.

In this role, you will provide existing and prospective clients with exceptional service, giving them confidence in placing their insurance needs with Alteri. This commission-based opportunity is ideal for professionals who want to maximize their earning potential, establish strong client relationships, and be the face of Alteri to their clients. With uncapped earning potential, access to major insurers and specialty markets, and full backend, marketing, quoting, and service support, you’ll have the freedom to focus on selling and expanding your business within a fast-paced, innovative environment that values performance and autonomy.

This is a remote position that requires a reliable home workspace with consistent availability throughout your shift. We are open to exceptional candidates and are excited to connect with great producers across Canada.

At Alteri, you’ll enjoy the independence of running your business with the full backing of a brokerage committed to innovation, growth, and helping you scale your income and impact.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Proactively prospect, qualify, and convert leads into new business.
  • Build, manage, and grow a personal portfolio of clients across commercial and/or personal lines.
  • Assess client risk profiles and recommend appropriate, customized insurance solutions.
  • Cross-sell and up-sell additional lines of business based on client needs.
  • Develop and maintain long-term client relationships with a focus on renewals and retention.
  • Act as a liaison between clients and underwriters; ensure quotes and coverage are aligned with client needs.
  • Stay up-to-date on insurer guidelines, coverage offerings, and market conditions.
  • Maintain accurate records in EPIC and other digital platforms.

Qualifications and Competencies:

  • Valid Level 2 Insurance Broker license required
  • RIBO license is considered an asset
  • 3+ years’ experience in insurance, with strong knowledge of both personal and commercial lines.
  • A hunter mindset self-motivated, target-driven, and proactive in lead generation.
  • Strong interpersonal and consultative sales skills.
  • Experience using EPIC and insurer portals is considered an asset.
  • High standards of integrity, professionalism, and customer service.
  • Experience managing high-value or complex risks is a bonus.

Compensation:

This is a commission role where your earnings will be based on the number of new policies bound and/or renewed. If you require a base salary to subsidize your earnings, it can be discussed.
