We are seeking a motivated and skilled Computer Technician to join our growing team.

Position Summary

The Computer Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining computers, tablets, smartphones, printers, and related technology products. The ideal candidate will possess strong troubleshooting abilities, excellent customer service skills, and a passion for technology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair desktop computers, laptops, tablets, and smartphones.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows and macOS operating systems.
  • Perform malware and virus removal.
  • Upgrade and replace hardware components including SSDs, RAM, batteries, screens, and motherboards.
  • Configure and troubleshoot printers, Wi-Fi networks, and internet connectivity issues.
  • Perform repairs on Apple products, including MacBooks, iMacs, iPhones, and iPads.
  • Build and configure custom desktop computer systems.
  • Perform data backup, migration, and recovery services.
  • Document repair work and maintain accurate service records.
  • Provide professional technical support and customer service.
  • Keep the repair workspace clean, organized, and efficient.
  • Stay current with emerging technology and repair techniques.

QualificationsRequired

  • Strong knowledge of computer hardware and software.
  • Experience troubleshooting Windows operating systems.
  • Basic familiarity with Apple products and macOS.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to lift and move computer equipment up to 50 lbs.

Preferred

  • Experience repairing tablets and smartphones, including screen and battery replacements.
  • Experience servicing Apple devices such as MacBooks, iMacs, iPhones, and iPads.
  • Knowledge of data recovery and transfer techniques.
  • Experience with business networking equipment and Wi-Fi troubleshooting.
  • CompTIA A+, Apple Certification, or similar technical certifications.
  • Previous experience in a computer repair or managed IT services environment.
