Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Chef to join our Indian Restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry and a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences. As a Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, creating innovative menus, and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality. Your leadership will inspire the kitchen staff to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

  • Develop and execute creative and seasonal menus that reflect current culinary trends.
  • Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and training to ensure high-quality food preparation.
  • Maintain food safety standards and ensure compliance with health regulations.
  • Collaborate with the restaurant management team to optimize kitchen operations and enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as necessary to maintain stock.
  • Assist in the preparation and presentation of dishes, ensuring consistency in taste and appearance.
  • Manage kitchen schedules, including team shifts, to ensure efficient workflow during peak hours.
  • Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within the restaurant or food service industry.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
