URBAN GATE IS HIRING!

Urban Gate is looking for energetic, reliable, and customer-focused individuals to join our growing team in Coquitlam, BC.

We are currently hiring for two separate positions:

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
* POSITION #1 – SERVER
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

We are looking for a friendly and professional Server who enjoys working with people and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and serve customers in a friendly and professional manner
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately
  • Serve food and drinks efficiently
  • Maintain clean and organized tables and service areas
  • Work closely with kitchen and bar staff
  • Handle customer requests and concerns professionally
  • Follow food safety and liquor service requirements

Qualifications:

  • Previous restaurant/server experience is preferred
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
  • Must be available for flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends
  • Serving It Right certification is an asset

* POSITION #2 – Experienced Like Cook
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

We are also looking for an experienced and dependable Kitchen Cook to join our kitchen team.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to Urban Gate standards
  • Follow recipes, portion sizes, and presentation guidelines
  • Prepare ingredients and complete daily food prep
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation
  • Follow food safety and health regulations
  • Assist with inventory, receiving, and proper food storage
  • Work efficiently with other kitchen team members during busy periods

Qualifications:

  • Previous kitchen or restaurant cooking experience is preferred
  • Good knowledge of food preparation and kitchen safety
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Reliable, organized, and able to work as part of a team
  • Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
  • FoodSafe certification is an asset
