Reporting to: Warehouse Supervisor

Status: Permanent

Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm (40 hours/week)

Description of position:

Key duties include the receipt and storage of inventory, the selection of items for customer orders, the conduct of cycle and physical counts, the packing and preparation of orders for shipment, and the performance of other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the receipt, supply, and movement of materials, including stock identification, loading and unloading, storage, and transfer
  • Label new inventory items and assign warehouse bin locations
  • Perform and support inventory control activities, including cycle counts and physical inventories
  • Pick materials required for assembly orders
  • Maintain a clean, orderly, and organized warehouse and storage area
  • Pack orders as required
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts on a daily basis

Qualifications and requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Must possess strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
  • Must adhere to safety policies and maintain a safe workstation
  • Demonstrated initiative, with a strong sense of responsibility and accountability
  • Strong work ethic
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Highly dependable and adaptable
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Working conditions and physical effort:

  • Moderate physical activity. Requires handling of average-weight objects up to a maximum of 50 pounds or standing and/or walking for more than four (4) hours per day;
  • Work environment involves minimal exposure to physical risks, such as operating dangerous equipment.
